Great tips. Here is another one.

Event organizers should collect speakers LinkedIn and Twitter account info to allow better networking. The event could create a Twitter List of all the speakers and post a Twitter feed on the event website. On LinkedIn, all speakers could be invited to the conference group and their account listed there for attendees to communicate prior and after the event.

I had no idea about these opportunities in LinkedIn. I've not use it as much as other social platforms for my events but will now in the future. Thanks for sharing this info.

Great insight. I'm interested to see the role LinkedIn plays in an environment similar to that of Twitter of Facebook. These are certainly ideas that speak to that venture.
