Several years ago, we were holding our annual expo at a major city's convention center. The convention center did not have enough space for our entire tradeshow so we took over one floor of the parking garage. On the second day of the show, pipes burst on the floor above the parking garage and flooded the esclator and a couple rows of the tradeshow. The exhibition staff went to work to make sure everything was safe for attendees and exhibitors, rerouted foot traffice and the show contined for two more days. It was an interesting experience to be part of and to watch unfold. Our attendees applauded the staff for handling the crisis so well.
